Des partis politiques haïtiens appellent à une transition institutionnelle sous l’égide de la Cour de cassation
Port-au-Prince, 7 mai 2025 – Dans une correspondance adressée au Premier ministre de facto, M. Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, plusieurs partis politiques haïtiens légalement reconnus – parmi lesquels le MUDHAH, UDEL, ROCH, SITWAYEN, APPA, NODRA et autres – expriment leur inquiétude face à la crise institutionnelle persistante en Haïti.
Ils dénoncent l’illégitimité des nominations effectuées depuis février 2021 par les autorités en place, qu’ils jugent contraires à la Constitution et au décret électoral de 2015. Les signataires remettent en cause la légalité du Conseil Présidentiel de Transition (CPT) ex nihilo et de l’équipe gouvernementale dirigée par M. Fils Aimé, qu’ils accusent de corruption et de complicité avec les gangs armés terroristes « auteurs de crimes contre l’humanité ».
Face à cette situation, ils demandent que la présidence provisoire de la République soit confiée au président actuel de la Cour de Cassation, le juge Barthélémy Altenor, dument nommé, et proposent trois personnalités – Max Gerson Paul, Pierre Robert Auguste et Me Caleb Jean-Baptiste – pour former l’éventuel gouvernement de transition patriotique, compétent et non partisan, aissent-ils entendre.

Concerning the incomprehension of the international community, in particular the core Group, the United States, and Canada.
In short, we, the representatives of the political parties, noting the forfeiture of the CPT and the government of Alix Didier Fils Aimé, both unanimously rejected by the vital sectors of the nation for aggravated corruption, complicity in crimes against humanity and characterized terrorist acts, ask in echo of the unanimous popular demands that the provisional presidency of the Republic be entrusted to the current president in office of the Court of Cassation, in this case Judge Barthelemy Altenor, and propose for the post of Prime Minister Mr Max Gerson Paul, Mr Pierre Robert Auguste and Mr Caleb JEAN-BAPTISTE.
