According to CNBC, both companies are moving forward with the partnership as the U.S. Justice Department and attorneys general in Massachusetts and New York investigate the alliance.
American and JetBlue are launching 80 codeshare flights and enhanced schedules on key routes. American Airlines plans to introduce 18 new routes this summer, including six new routes from John F. Kennedy International Airport to Latin America and the Caribbean.
