Selon une note publiée sur le site Kompamagazine, Mickael Guirand annonce qu`après environ 15 ans au sein de Carimi, il va prendre une pause en tant que chanteur principal de ce groupe.
La star, qui n`a pas voulu entrer dans les détails, indique que ce retrait de la scène se fera pour des raisons personnelles et sera effectif immédiatement.

Our loyal fans might be disappointed but this was not an easy decision specially when I have been reliable for the pass 14 years. I hope you guys understand the sacrifice that comes w being a musician specially in the haitian music industry..
