The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has issued two recalls on bread products from two different companies.

Both manufacturers discovered substances that are not listed as ingredients, which poses a risk to people with allergies.

The first product is limited quantity Flower Foods honey wheat bread.

It contains milk, which was not listed on the package.

Apparently, the company realized it had placed loaves of Nature’s Own Butterbread into Nature’s Own Honey Wheat packaging.

People who are allergic to milk could suffer severe, even life-threatening reactions.

Flower Foods said it has not received any reports of allergic reactions so far.

About 3,000 loaves of the incorrectly marked bread were sold.

They have an expiration date of Dec. 26. and codes 128 346 03:00 through 128 346 05:00.

The second recall is several products from the Bosket Bread Company.

Each also contains potential allergens that are not listed on the packaging.

The company says that 54 units of 15 bread products may contain soy, milk, wheat, sesame, and eggs.

They come in plastic bags with the Bosket Bread sticker on the front and do not UPC, lot codes, or dates.
